PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device suitable for tiling system by achieving narrowing of a frame. SOLUTION: The thickness of each of two glass substrates constituting a display panel 18 is set to≤50μm while microcracks are not caused at a periphery, so that the display panel can be bent at an almost right angle. The display panel 18 is fixed to a side of a supporting frame 50 by bending frame areas F on respective sides to the supporting frame 50 side from the vicinity of the periphery of a display area V while the back side of the display area V is supported on a surface of the supporting frame 50. Namely, the frame area F is bent to the supporting frame 50 side, thereby the length in terms of plane of the frame area is shortened. Furthermore, all the frame areas F on the four sides are constituted to be bent, thereby the display panel is suitable for the tiling system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
