PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method which facilitates insurance of accuracy, attains outstanding shortening of a working time, reduces repairing work and reduces handling labor when a lower block of a bow part is manufactured. SOLUTION: While making a portion of predetermined width from a bow end as a small group block bow end part, a bow end starboard outside plank 2 and a bow end port outside plank 3 are welded to a round bar 101 of a predetermined diameter, and a bow end inner steel material 4 shorter than the bow end starboard/port outside planks 3, 2 is welded to a part between the bow end starboard/port outside planks 3, 2 at a predetermined angle to manufacture the small group block bow end. A bow lower block rear part constituted of a block rear part starboard outside plank 5 joined to the bow end starboard outside plank so as to correspond to the small group block bow end, a block rear part port outside plank 6 joined to the bow end port outside plank and a block rear part inner steel material 7 extending in a bow direction from the block rear part starboard/port outside planks 6, 5 is manufactured, and is joined to the small group block bow end by welding.
