摘要 <p>A ceramic honeycomb structure having a plurality of flow paths which are partitioned by porous bulkheads, wherein the porosity of the bulkheads is 40-60%, the opening area ratio (the total opening area of pores which are open per unit area of the surfaces of the bulkheads) of the pores which are open on the surfaces of the bulkheads is 15% or more, the median opening diameter based on the area of the pores which are open is 10 µm or more but less than 40 µm when the opening diameter of the pores which are open on the surfaces of the bulkheads is expressed by circle-equivalent diameter (the diameter of a circle having an area equivalent to the opening area of the pores), the density of the pores in which the circle-equivalent diameter is 10 µm or more but less than 40 µm is 350 pieces/mm2 or more, and the average value of the degrees of circularity of the pores in which the circle-equivalent diameter is 10 µm or more but less than 40 µm is 1-2.</p>
