RECORDING MEDIUM INVERTING DEVICE AND RECORDING MEDIUM PROCESSING APPARATUS USING THE SAME

A recording medium inverting device and a recording medium processing apparatus using the same are disclosed. The recording medium inverting device includes a passage assembly for forming a first passage (3), one end of which is connected with an inlet (1) of recording medium and the other end of which is connected with an outlet (2) of recording medium; an inverting mechanism (4), which is positioned at one side of the passage assembly, and includes a first plate (41) positioned under the outlet and extending far away from the outlet and a second plate (42) oscillatably provided between the outlet and the inlet and forming a recording medium containing space with the first plate; conveying rollers (411, 424) for conveying the recording medium; a guide plate (5), which is controlled to guide the recording medium to enter into the first passage or the recording medium containing space of the inverting mechanism. According to the invention, the first passage and the inverting mechanism can share a power device to convey the recording medium, without switching position state and rotating direction of many mechanisms as in prior art, which simplifies structure of the recording medium inverting device and control method, and thus reduces the number of the power device and the manufacturing cost of device.
