<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet irradiation device capable of surely curing an ultraviolet-curable ink by emitting an appropriate amount of ultraviolet rays according to the cured state of the ink stuck to a printing object. <P>SOLUTION: A main irradiation unit U1 and an auxiliary irradiation unit arranged side by side in the carrying direction of the printing object 30, have a light emitting part Ls1 for the main irradiation and a light emitting part Ls2 for auxiliary irradiation arranged with a plurality of LED modules respectively, on the facing face with the respective printing objects 30 in the direction crossing the carrying direction of the printing objects 30. The main irradiation unit U1 is configured to normally light the light emitting part Ls1 for the main irradiation, and the auxiliary irradiation unit U2 is configured to control the lighting state of the light emitting part Ls2 for auxiliary irradiation. Thus, control of the lighting state of the light emitting part Ls2 for auxiliary irradiation corresponding to the cured state of the ink attached to the printing object 30, allows the change of the amount of ultraviolet rays, to allow the optimum ultraviolet irradiation according to the cured state of the ink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
