<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operating load of a user by reducing the weight of the portable part while enhancing the security, and to achieve low price of the whole system by contriving a low price printer. <P>SOLUTION: A portable printer control unit 20 includes a connector 29 which is removably connected to a plurality of printer bodies 30 each including a print mechanism 33 for printing on a paper and a paper conveyance mechanism 34 for conveying a paper, an ROM 22 and an RAM 23 which store a program for carrying out the printing and the print data, an MPU 21 which controls the print mechanism 33 and the paper conveyance mechanism 34, and the like, wherein the MPU 21 executes the program after the connector 29 is connected to the printer body 30, and controls the print mechanism 33 and the paper conveyance mechanism 34 through a head drive circuit 26 and a conveyance motor drive circuit 27 to print the print data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
