<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery evaluation apparatus easily carrying out performance evaluation on the entire light receiving area and determination of a failure position of the solar battery. <P>SOLUTION: The solar battery evaluation apparatus 1 is equipped with: a main light source 12 for irradiating the entire light receiving surface of the solar battery 10; a subsidiary light source 13 for irradiating a partial portion of the light receiving surface; a moving mechanism 14 for moving the subsidiary light source 13; and a measurement instrument 15 for measuring each output performance of the area on the light receiving surface irradiated by the main light source 12 and by the subsidiary light source 13.
