<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of stably forming a desired image over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming method includes: a step of discharging an ink composition, that contains pigment, a volatile water-soluble organic solvent, polymer particles, and water, to a recording medium from a heated nozzle plate of an inkjet head; and a step of applying a maintenance liquid to a nozzle face of the nozzle plate after discharge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
