PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a connected cable from being easily detached even when a considerably strong tensile force is applied in a signal relay box for nurse calls in a ward for inpatients. SOLUTION: In the signal relay box, a cable 4A for signal transmission is drawn into a casing 11 through a cable insertion hole 12A and connected to a prescribed terminal member arranged inside the casing 11. The inside of the casing 11 includes: a first wiring part 20 arranged on the side of the cable insertion hole 12A and provided with at least three bosses 21-23 for wiring the cable 4A zigzag; and a second wiring part 30 arranged on the side of the terminal member and constituted of a notched plate having at least three notched parts 31-33 where the cable 4A can be wired on the upper side part for wiring the cable 4A zigzag.
