PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion gun which is conveniently used for the hard type or soft type container filled with a paste like article and which has good center of gravity balance when loading a cartridge. SOLUTION: The extrusion gun is used for extruding a paste like article from a hard or a soft container in which the paste like article is filled. The extrusion gun includes: a holding base which has an open storing part for housing the container and which has a semi-circular shape in the cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction; an extruding rod which is provided with an extruding member at the tip end and which is made movable forward and backward on the holding base; and a cover member which has a nearly same diameter as that of the holding base, which is made turnable and slidable along the periphery of the holding base around the axial line of the holding base, and which has a semi-circular shape in the cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction.
