A method of periodic throttling a supercritical fluid in an apparatus for supercritical fluid extraction, according to which an opening of outlet narrowed channel is periodically closed and opened, consists in that periodic opening and closing the channel is carried out by freezing the fluid in the narrowed part of channel and defrosting it by heating narrowed part of the channel.
