METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF EFFECTIVENESS OF EMPIRICAL THERAPY WITH ANTIBIOTICS OF INFECTION-INFLAMMATORY DISEASES OF LOW RESPIRATORY TRACTS

摘要

Method for prediction of effectiveness of empirical therapy with antibiotics of infection-inflammatory diseases of low respiratory tracts with application as criterion that supports bacterial etiology of process of serum level of procalcitonin. Additionally one uses the index sTREM, at that prediction of probability of positive effect is performed under condition that level PCT > 0.25 ng/ml, and at PCT < 0.25 ng/ml under condition that serum concentration sTREM < 0.4 ng/ml.
