The method involves deactivating the two induction heating loads for a prespecified time interval as the respective electronic switching devices are switched off. The prespecified time interval is arranged in a blanking gap in relation to the multiplexing. A converter, which controls the two induction heating loads, is partially switched off during the prespecified time interval. An independent claim is also included for a circuit with a control unit.
