<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information storage device that can improves workability in the removal of a magnetic disk drive unit, and also reduces the number of part items. <P>SOLUTION: The information storage device includes: at least two magnetic disk drive units (16a, 16b) stacked with each other; a first chassis (20) attached to one magnetic disk drive unit (16a); and a second chassis (31) attached to the other magnetic disk drive unit (16b). The first chassis (20) has a plurality of first support units (24) removably supported to a top plate (19), and a plurality of second support units (28) formed at positions deviated from the first support units (24). The second chassis (31) has a plurality of third support units (35) facing the second support units (28) when the magnetic disk drive units (16a, 16b) are stacked with each other.
