<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material for a lithium ion secondary battery having superior filling properties, a large initial capacity and high capacity maintenance rate, when repeating charging and discharging. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the positive electrode active material for the lithium ion secondary battery, mainly consisting of a Li-Mn composite oxide having a spinel structure includes a process for adding an oxide, an element convertible into an oxide or a compound containing the element which will fuse at 550-900°C, or an oxide, an element convertible into an oxide or a compound containing the element which will form solid solution with lithium or manganese or will react and fuse with lithium or manganese to crushed material of the Li-Mn composite oxide having a spinel structure, and mixing and granulating them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
