<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical position detection apparatus, along with a display apparatus having a position detection function, can accurately performing position detection, even when a position detection method using the intensity distribution of position detection light formed by a light guide plate is adopted. <P>SOLUTION: An optical position detection apparatus 10 includes: position detection light sources 12A to 12d that emit position detection light beams L2a to L2d; a light guide plate 13; and a light detector 15 having a light receiving unit directed toward a detection area 10R. The light guide plate 13 includes: an outer periphery 13m including light incident units 13a, 13b, 13c, and 13d for taking thereinto the position detection light beams L2a to L2d; and a light emission surface 13s orthogonal to the outer periphery 13m. The entire outer periphery 13m except the light incident units 13a, 13b, 13c, and 13d of the light guide plate 13 is made of an antireflection surface 13v having a light absorbing layer 14 formed therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
