<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner having a wind direction guide device capable of improving wind direction guiding performance by surely and efficiently switching horizontal supply guide in a cooling operation and a downward supply guide in a heating operation, and smoothly circulating the air. <P>SOLUTION: This indoor unit includes a suction opening 5 and a supply opening 6, a ventilation flue 10, a heat exchanger 7, an air blower 8, the wind direction guide device G and a control section R. The wind direction guide device includes first and second vertical wind direction plates 11a, 11b having a length over the horizontal width of the supply opening and a roughly half length in the longitudinal direction, and rotated and driven in the longitudinal direction in parallel with each other, and a plurality of horizontal wind direction plates 11c disposed on one face section of the second vertical wind direction plate. The control section controls the vertical wind direction by rotating and driving the first vertical wind direction plate in the cooling operation, rotating and driving the second vertical wind direction plate in the heating operation, and making the vertical wind direction plate of the other side keep an angle designated in each operation mode in any of cooling and heating operations. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
