PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing coupling device which can keep a posture when a display device side casing is slid and rotated from an operation key side casing with one spring in a portable telephone. SOLUTION: The casing coupling device 30 which can vertically slide two casings 1 and 2 and rotating them to a T shape includes: a fixed plate 31 provided with a pin 33 and a rotary shaft 24 and attached to the casing 1; a rail plate 25 provided with rail parts 21 and 22 to be slid relative to a slide plate 20 attached to the rotary shaft 34 of the fixed plate 31; a moving plate 12 fixed to the rail plate 25, provided with a guide groove 23 for guiding the pin 13 when the casings 1 and 2 are slid and rotated, and attached to the casing 2; and a torsion spring 36 disposed between both plates. In all of the overlapped state, slide state and T-shaped state of the casings 1 and 2, the torsion spring 36 generates energizing force for keeping the present state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
