PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) reception apparatus which improves receiving quality, in mobile communication. SOLUTION: The OFDM receiving apparatus which receives an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal, including pilot signals which are periodically arranged in a frequency direction and a time direction is provided with a Fourier transformation unit 13 which transforms an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing signal that is a signal in the time domain into a signal in the frequency domain; a first equalizing units 21, 22 which perform interpolation processing of the pilot signals included in the output of the Fourier transformation unit in the time direction and the frequency direction, estimates the transmission line characteristics, and perform equalizing processing of the output of the Fourier transformation unit, based on the estimation result; a removing unit of an inter-carrier interference 23, which removes the inter-carrier interference of the output of the Fourier transform unit; a second equalizing unit 24, which estimates the transmission line characteristics from the output of the Fourier transformation unit removed the inter-carrier interference by the removing unit of the inter carriers interference, and performs equalizing processing of the output of the Fourier transformation unit, based on the estimation result; and a selection unit 25 which selectively outputs one of the outputs of the first and the second equalizers.
