PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus driving and stopping its fan units as necessary and also appropriately controlling the respective fan speeds, thereby achieving low power consumption more efficiently. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus 1 includes: multiple units 2, each of which is removably provided and has a heat generating portion; and multiple fan units 3 which cool the multiple units 2. The electronic apparatus 1 also has a control means 12 including: a number-of-units-mounted recognition section 13 which recognizes the number of units 2 mounted; and a fan controller 16 for controlling the fan speed of each fan unit 3 according to the number of units 2 mounted, which is recognized by the number-of-units-mounted recognition section 13.
