PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching/detaching tool that makes possible highly reliable operation of attaching/detaching an LC connector plug to/from an adaptor and an optical module. SOLUTION: The tool includes a tool body 2 and an operation member 4 held on the tool body 2 in a manner slidable in the attaching/detaching direction of an optical connector plug and in a manner tiltable around a pin 8. The operation member 4 is provided with a contact part 41 that can come into contact with the optical connector plug by the tilt around the pin 8. The contact part 41 is equipped with a first protruding part 41A that presses down an elastic lug 201 to the plug body side by bringing the tip end into contact with the elastic lug 201 of the LC connector plug 200 and that is latched to the elastic lug 201 when the LC connector plug 200 is withdrawn from the adaptor, and is equipped with a second protruding part 41B that engages with the elastic lug 201 when the LC connector plug 200 is inserted into the adaptor.
