PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the hair from physical or chemical stimulation thereby to impart good feels such as 'flexibility', 'smoothness', 'moist feeling', 'pliancy', and the like to the hair by using a hair cosmetic comprising a biosurfactant. SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic comprises a component (A): a biosurfactant, a component (B): an amidoamine compound or a salt thereof, a component (C): an aromatic alcohol, and a component (D): a branched fatty acid or a salt thereof. The hair cosmetic protects the hair from physical or chemical stimulation thereby to impart good feels such as 'flexibility', 'smoothness', 'moist feeling', 'pliancy', and the like to the hair.
