PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control device capable of surely preventing a fireman in rescue operation from being shut up in a car of an elevator in operation in various emergency states. SOLUTION: This elevator control device includes: a switch group having an emergency calling-out switch for switching the elevator to an emergency calling-back mode from an ordinary operation mode, a primary fire fighting switch for switching to a primary fire fighting operation mode from the ordinary operation mode, and a secondary fire fighting switch for switching to a secondary fire fighting operation mode from the primary fire fighting operation mode; an elevator control part for controlling the elevator by switching an operation mode of the elevator from information on the switch group; a door opening travel preventive part for controlling the elevator control part by monitoring door opening travel or elevator control abnormality independently of the elevator control part; and an operation mode detecting means for transmitting the operation mode to the door opening travel preventive part by detecting the operation mode from the information on the switch group.
