An independent claim is also included for preparing the handle, comprising: (a) providing a metal handle core (8); (b) providing a sol (3) with a precursor, which is transferred into a glass-like layer; (c) producing a wet film (5) on the metal handle core by coating the metal core with the sol; (d) converting the wet film into a xerogel layer by drying; and (e) transforming the xerogel layer into a glass-like layer by a thermal compression.</p> |
