PURPOSE: An apparatus for inspecting a liquid crystal display panel and a method thereof are provided to improve the quality of a liquid crystal panel module and reduce the time taken for inspecting the defects by detecting the defects which may occur while increasing bonding resistance. CONSTITUTION: A device for inspecting a liquid crystal display panel comprises: a liquid crystal panel which displays a certain image; plural data driving ICs(Integrated Circuits) mounted in a certain region of the liquid crystal panel; an FPC(Flexible Printed Cable)(110) which supplies an external signal to the plural data driving ICs; a VDD feedback unit(131b) and a VDD input unit(131a) which are respectively connected to one end and the other end of the FPC and the data driving ICs; and a resistance detection circuit(130) which detects boding failure by comparing the bonding resistance of the bonding unit of the data driving ICs with the bonding resistance of the bonding unit of the FPC.
