<p>New sealing/insulating layer, esp. for resisting moisture or water under pressure, is applied to a substrate in the form of an emulsion contg. a heat sensitiser and a polymer which is ppted. from the emulsion during application by heating. Used for coating buildings and mine constructions. The applied layers have a low water content and bond firmly to the substrate. As use of a metal salt precipitating agent is avoided, the layers do not corrode steel or concrete.</p> |
