PURPOSE: A master mold manufacturing method for forming a fine pattern film attached on the external surface of electronic appliances is provided to cost-effectively obtain a master mold. CONSTITUTION: A master mold manufacturing method includes the following: A photo-resist(110) is applied on the surface of a stainless steel substrate(100). Ultraviolet ray is transmitted to the photo-resist through a mask with a pattern(140). Exposure and development processes are implemented. The stainless steel substrate with the pattern is etched with a wet-etching method. The photo-resist is eliminated from the etched substrate(100').
