COMMUNICATION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A communication method and system for a sensor network are provided to have low power and real-time characteristics for a sensor network. CONSTITUTION: A transmission time for event information transmission is classified into first and second intervals, wherein the second interval is logger than the first interval. The signal for informing the occurrence of an event in the first interval is transmitted and received. If there is the transmitted and received signal in the first interval, the event information is transmitted and received in the second interval. The signal for notifying the occurrence of an event includes an identifier of a node which transmits the signal.
