PURPOSE: A damp-proof paper and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the damp-proof efficiency by depositing a synthetic resin film based on a polyethylene resin between a first paper and a second paper. CONSTITUTION: A manila board paper(12) and a craft paper(14) are supplied. A liquid polyethylene resin(16) is applied on the manila board paper or the craft paper. The manila board paper, the craft paper, and the applied liquid polyethylene resin pass through a pressurizing roller(24). The manila board paper, the craft paper, and the liquid polyethylene resin are combined.
