PURPOSE: A performance testing device using detection signal analysis of a valve position transducer and a control method thereof are provided to enable the verification of various valve position transducers used on site. CONSTITUTION: A performance testing device using detection signal analysis of a valve position transducer comprises a drive unit(10), a signal detection unit(20), and a command processing module(30) for data processing and driving. A valve position transducer to be tested is mounted in the drive unit. The drive unit generates and transmits power for the forward and backward movement of cores of the valve position transducer. The signal detection unit controls the drive unit. The signal detection unit supplies input voltage to the primary coil of the valve position transducer. The signal detection unit detects the voltage induced in the secondary coil of the valve position transducer. The command processing module for data processing and driving includes a data screen. The command processing module for data processing and driving operation transmits signals for the control of the drive unit to the valve opening degree signal detection unit.
