Device and method for depicting a geometric figure on the surface of a patient's body

The apparatus (1) has a projection device (6) which projects the geometrical figure onto a surface of the patient's body (3) placed on a support (2). An optical sensor acquires the data of projected geometrical figure. A controller (5) determines the 3D coordinates of the projected geometrical figure from the data acquired by the sensor. The controller compares the determined 3D coordinates of projected geometrical figure with desired 3D coordinates to coincide determined coordinates with the desired coordinates. An independent claim is included for method for representation of geometrical figure on patient's body.
