PURPOSE: A shock absorber with a plastic-based lower connecting unit is provided to reduce the entire weight of the shock absorber by integrating a lower cap and a lower eye based on plastic. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber includes a base shell(10), a piston valve, a piston rod, and a lower connecting unit(20). The base shell is formed into a cylindrical shape. The piston valve is contained in the base shell. The piston valve generates damping force by vertically moving. One end of the piston rod is in connection with the piston valve. Another end of the piston rod is expanded to the external side of the base shell. The lower connecting unit is inserted into the lower side of the base shell and closes the lower opening of the base shell. |
