PURPOSE: A drilling and stirring rod of a ground improvement device is provided to inject a ground improvement material from the bottom when inserted in the ground and inject a ground improvement material from the top when pulled out from the ground, thereby enhancing the efficiency of ground improvement. CONSTITUTION: A drilling and stirring rod of a ground improvement device comprises a connecting rod(110), a stirring rod(120), a coupling rod(130), a drilling rod, and a through-hole opening and closing member. The connecting rod has a longitudinal through hole and a plurality of grooves on the exterior in which balls are installed. The stirring rod is coupled to the connecting rod and has a longitudinal through hole and grooves on the interior in which balls are installed. The coupling rod has a longitudinal through hole and is coupled to the through holes of the stirring rod. The drilling rod has a longitudinal through hole and is fixed to the stirring rod as receiving the coupling rod. The through-hole opening and closing member opens and closes the through hole of the coupling rod respectively when inserting and pulling out the drilling and stirring rod.
