The invention relates to a system for the identification of different fastening elements (50) which are used for the connecting of components of a unit which is to be assembled, characterized by a receptacle (1, 1', 1") to receive different fastening elements (50), which differ from each other with regard to shape and/or size and/or material, wherein the different fastening elements (50) with which the receptacle (1, 1', 1") is charged are coordinated to the components which are respectively to be connected, and the number of fastening elements (50) which are able to be received by the receptacle (1, 1', 1") corresponds at least to the number of connection sites on the components, by a housing (30) which serves to receive the receptacle (1, 1', 1") and by identification elements (33) to display the individual charging position of a fastening element (50) in the receptacle (1, 1', 1").
