PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing power consumption of an apartment house using an entry card is provided to manage each household's power consumption in real time. CONSTITUTION: An entry card detector(32) confirms generic numbers by recognizing each resident's entry card. A communication unit(34) transmits each household's power consumption information, and public facility's power consumption information to an apartment house management computer. A power measurer(36) measures power consumption amount of each household, and public facilities.
