<p>The method involves monitoring supplying of combustion air and/or combustion gas to a burner (2) by a monitoring apparatus arranged in a combustion air line (8) and/or a combustion gas line (10). Current pressure of the combustion air and/or of the combustion gas is determined by the monitoring apparatus. A signal indicating leakage of a ceramic radiant heating pipe (3) is emitted when the current pressure drops below a predetermined limit value and/or when a pressure difference between the current pressure and pressure of a collector line exceeds the predetermined limit value. An independent claim is also included for a radiant heating apparatus for a furnace system.</p> |
