One end of a resilient sleeve (31) is fitted on a tubular projection (22) of the bell of a constant velocity joint. The sleeve covers a radial slot (27) formed in the projections and the arms (29) of a spring locking ring (24) for axially removably securing the joint bell (20) to a toothed driving ring (18) fixed on a rotatable hub (10). The other end of the sleeve (31) has a radially inwardly projecting flange (35) which is sealingly axially clamped against a rigid annular part (14) secured to or integral with the hub (10).
