SOFT SWITCHING SIGNALING SCHEME FOR GATEWAY INTERFACE BETWEEN LOCAL AREA NETWORK AND WIDE AREA NETWORK

PURPOSE: A soft switching signaling method of a local area network and an apparatus thereof are provided to offer a service of high quality and to increase the efficiency of a gateway communication. CONSTITUTION: A local area wireless interface unit(210) communicates with a mobile terminal and a local wireless interface. A global wireless interface unit(230) communicates with a base station in a global area network. A signaling management entity(220) manages signaling for connecting the local wireless interface unit and the global wireless interface. A mobile terminal searches a seamless signaling interworking device of the local area network.
