<p>Device is intended for a still in which the alcoholic vapours come through a pipe with two branches; one directs the vapours towards the condenser and the other to a heater for the incoming wine. The device consists of two butterfly-valves arranged on the branch pipes and mechanically connected so that one will be automatically open when the other is shut and vice versa; in this way the flow of the vapours cannot be interrupted completely. The device operates smoothly, there is no jamming and it takes up little space. Sealing is complete and permanent. The butterfly valves are fitted on the respective branches and interconnected by a rod linkage.</p> |
