<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately perform bidirectional communication between communication terminals without complicating peripheral constitution of light emission portions nor increasing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A 1st communication terminal 100 includes light reception portions 123a and 123b receiving an optical signal emitted by a 2nd communication terminal 200 and light emission portions 124a and 124b emitting optical signals to the 2nd communication terminal 200.
