A mobile terminal apparatus includes a channel compensation processor (13) configured to carry out a channel compensation process on a first channel reception signal using a channel estimation value obtained for the first channel based on a plurality of known signals received from a base station; and a channel re-compensation processor (32) to carry out a channel compensation process again on the first channel with a channel estimation value of the first channel obtained based on a plurality of known signals including at least a known signal which is received after reception of the first channel when a decoding result of the first channel reception signal after the channel compensation process by the processor (13) is defined as an error. With this, error rate of the first channel is reduced and the number of retransmission according to HARQ is reduced, so that throughput in the mobile terminal can be improved. |
