<p>Entanglement of textile yarns with a tendency to twist, e.g. high twist, heat-fixed, elastic textured yarns when taken off over the head of the yarn package is prevented by a circular disc seated on the yarn carrier and having a curved edge, and a concentric circular disc of smaller diameter, together with a series of hair-type elements placed between the discs with a uniform radial spacing and projecting beyond the edge of the larger disc. The two discs are pref. of plastics, and the hair-type elements of synthetic material such as polyamide.</p> |
