CONTROLLED BLASTING METHOD FOR PROTECTING CUT SLOPE, CBPS

PURPOSE: A controlled blasting method for protecting a cut slope is provided to minimize damage to bedrock, since multiple cut slope protecting holes are blasted simultaneously to maintain concentration of stress. CONSTITUTION: A controlled blasting method for protecting a cut slope comprises following steps. Multiple cut slope protecting holes(1) are punched on bedrock in one row with depth corresponding to the height of a bench in parallel to a predetermined line(110) of excavation of the bedrock(100). Multiple main blasting holes(2) are punched in the blasting part of the bedrock. Multiple emulsion explosives(4,5) are combined with a detonating fuse(3) at regular intervals, so the protecting holes are filled with the emulsion explosives. The main blasting holes are filled with the explosives through a hole bottom detonator(6). The hole bottom detonator of the main blasting hole connects to the surface detonator. The detonating fuse is combined with an instantaneous detonator. The instantaneous detonator connects to an exploder(9).
