PURPOSE: An in-plane switching mode LCD is provided to reduce VAC(View Angle Crosstalk) resulting from outer common electrodes and a data wire placed on the electrodes and improve the aperture ratio. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate which is a color substrate is distanced from and faces a lower plate which is an array substrate. A liquid crystal layer is placed between the upper and lower substrates. A common electrode and a pixel electrode are formed on the lower substrate, and the liquid crystal layer is activated through lateral field. A data wire which defines a pixel region is formed on a gate insulation layer(121). The gate insulation layer is formed on an outer common electrode, a gate wire and a common wire. |
