CONTINUOUS PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING ALIPHATIC POLYCARBONATES FROM CARBON DIOXIDE AND EPOXIDES

PURPOSE: A continuous process for manufacturing aliphatic polycarbonates is provided to continuously prepare aliphatic polycarbonates and to save costs by recycling epoxide compounds and carbon dioxide which does not participate in the reaction. CONSTITUTION: A continuous process for manufacturing aliphatic polycarbonates comprises the steps of: supplying carbon dioxide, one or more kinds of epoxide compounds, and organometallic catalysts to a polymerization reactor to polymerize aliphatic polycarbonate; and separating unreacted carbon dioxide and epoxide compounds. The unreacted carbon dioxide and epoxide compounds are recycled and reused as a raw material.
