PURPOSE: A 3D movie video converting system and a method thereof are provided to prevent image distortion phenomenon and screen overlapping phenomenon when a motion vector is rapidly enlarged. CONSTITUTION: Based on a 2D video inputted to an image input unit(9), a warping unit(22) forms a processing image by performing a warping operation for a mask. According to the information on depth or scenograph formed by a composition recognition algorithm(30), shift algorithms(28,29) for the images arranged for left and right eyes are executed.
