PURPOSE: A scanner apparatus and a scanning method are provided to reduce the scanning time rather than a contact-type scanning method by photographing a subject from an upper portion of the subject. CONSTITUTION: A light scanning unit(110) irradiate a line-shaped beam onto a subject, and an imaging unit(120) photographs a 3D shape of the subject. An image converting unit(160) acquires the distorted beam from the 3D shape. The image converting unit obtains the height information of the subject, and compensates the position of the 3D shape of the subject in a planar shape by using the height information.
