PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a manufacturing method thereof, and a light emitting device package are provided to form a protective metal layer by metal materials with a superior adhesive feature between a light emitting structure and a junction layer, thereby effectively preventing a phenomenon that a light emitting structure is peeled from the junction layer. CONSTITUTION: A junction layer(170) is formed on a conductive supporting member(175). A reflecting layer(160) is formed on the junction layer. An ohmic layer(150) is formed on the reflecting layer. A light emitting structure(135) is formed on the ohmic layer and a guard metal layer(140). The light emitting structure generates light. An electrode(115) is formed on the light emitting structure. |
