<p>The case (10) has time indication units e.g. hour and minute hands, connected to a clockwork mechanism (20). A dial base comprises articulated elements moved between closed and open positions. The elements are placed side by side and mask the mechanism in the closed position. The elements are retracted for letting a part of the mechanism visible from the exterior through a glass in the open position. The elements constituting the base are parallel pivoting longilinear strips (31, 131). The strips are driven by mechanical driving units.</p> |
