METHOD AND APPARATUS OF TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING MAC PDU USING A MAC HEADER

PURPOSE: A MAC(Medium Access Control) PDU(Protocol Data Unit) transceiving method using a compression MAC header and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce MAC header overhead having sequence number information in case of HARQ(Hybrid-Automatic Retransmission reQuest) reordering of a small packet. CONSTITUTION: A receiving module(1620) receives a MAC PDU. A processor(1640) performs a signal processing about the received MAC PDU. The processor receives the MAC PDU including a compact MAC header from a transmitting device through the receiving module. The compact MAC header is used for the transmission of the packet according to the predetermined size.
